HOW DOES IT WORK ?

200% saved from waste: top products directly sourced from producers and manufacturers that do not respect arbitrary (absurd) retail standards, such as size, shape, perfect colors, typo mistaken labels, overproduction, etc…

 100% top quality: all the products fit our rigorous quality policy (taste, freshness, no harmful or controversial ingredients, ethical sourcing, no heated greenhouses for fruits and vegetables, etc.), including organic and locally sourced fruits and vegetables,

 100% flexibility: weekly deliveries with a super easy skip option when needed. Stop when you want.

 We have already rescued more than 3000 tons of products, thanks to 30,000 satisfied customers. And we are just getting started! Our goal is to save thousands more tons of goods all across Europe. 

As a fast-growing startup (18 millions raised in four years), we are focused on our mission and need an exceptional team to make it happen. We currently work in France and Spain, but are expanding soon throughout Europe. JOB DESCRIPTION

This job offer is a replacement of our current CFO Thomas, leaving for an entrepreneurial project. The ambition of the job is to lead, structure & develop Bene Bono’s finance function on its path to profitability & 100M€ revenue target!

Your missions will be the following:

  • Financial strategy: help defining the strategy, providing enlightened insights for a lasting growth
  • Team building: lead, build and nurture Bene Bono’s finance team composed today of Margaux (Senior Finance Manager), Alaeddine (Finance Officer) and Delphine (part-time Office Manager)
  • Tooling: Adapt financial tools to every step of Bene Bono’s journey
  • FP&A and reporting: oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities to ensure the company’s financial health and stability
  • Business Partnaring: you will impact Bene Bono’s development through enlightened business analysis and decision-making
  • Performance culture: you will play a key role in democratizing a financial performance culture within Bene Bono
  • Financing: lead future financing events with the CEO (fundraising, non-dilutive instruments) and constantly improve our Working Capital Requirement
  • Compliance & Risk management: ensure Bene Bono’s overall compliance including accounting, regulatory & tax. Identify and manage financial risks, implementing appropriate measures to mitigate them effectively

REQUIRED PROFILE

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Finance statements knowledge: The 3 financial statements have no secrets for you both from the preparation & analysis standpoints
  • Expertise in modelling: Gsheet is your close friend, you can manipulate data fast while maintaining bulletproof rigor
  • Project Management skills: You are an experienced project manager used to dealing with numerous stakeholders and complex projects (e.g. ERP implementation)
  • Knowledge both in the retail and logistics: you have a deep understanding of industry specificities
  • Compliance expert: mastering compliance and tax topics 
  • You are know for your leadership skills, with a great ability to hire and develop a Finance dream team.
  • You have already convinced your previous team(s) with your rigor, attention to detail, great analysis skills and business acumen.
