Job Description:

We are looking for a  Flight Ops Application Manager (m/f) for our Commercial Aircraft business to join our Digital Department based in Toulouse, France.

As a FlightOps Application Manager, you will join Airbus Customer Services team and will be dealing with Aircraft Technical Data​ .

The main responsibility is to understand the Technical Data landscape and objectives and lead the corresponding IT Solutions Portfolio / Project in line with Enterprise Architecture, Airbus Digital strategy and objectives.

The project you will be in charge of will be dedicated to Flight Ops.

The purpose of Flight Ops techdata application is to allow Flight ops engineers to edit, validate and publish all documents needed to dispatch and fly the aircraft as well as cabin crew operations.

Your challenges:

• With the Business stakeholders, identify, structure and prioritize the needs for new and improved services

• Define and validate the right functional solution to answer business needs, inline with existing landscape and design.

• With the supply chain, organize delivery activities on Time, Cost and Quality (from detailed specifications to development)

• Lead the scoping of the  applications for its MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and future releases (collect of the need, arbitration on priorities, …) ensuring to reach the consensus with stakeholders,

• Coordinate and contribute to the solutions implementation 

• Monitor daily applications issues and propose corrections and improvements

• Organize Project major milestones in line with IM Quality plan

• Contribute to the future of Technical Data within Technical Data Modernization program

Your boarding pass:

• Educated to 5-year degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology

• At least 5-year experience in IT Project Management, Functional Specifications and Functional validation

• Rigorous in requirements capture and project management

• Risk based approach and ability to manage escalation process

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesizing complex information

• Good autonomy and ability to work in complex environment (unexpected changes, scope unclear)

• Team Player and collaborative mind-set

• Strong soft skills, proactive, constructive, supportive and support occasional pressure

• Knowledge on Aircraft Technical Data/Documentation on Flight Ops is a plus

Language skills: 

Advanced level in French and English.
