„What I value about the company is primarily its stability and its capability to value its employees.“

Meet Arpád

I’m from Hungary, but I didn’t spend much time there as I moved a lot with my parents. Although I’ve been CEO for a relatively short time, I’ve worked for Philip Morris for almost twenty-seven years. And thanks to that I’ve had the opportunity to go around basically the whole world. I’ve worked for several years in Switzerland, then Israel, Hungary, North Africa, Pakistan and Portugal. I’ve organized various acquisitions, helped kickstart new production lines and I’ve lead various marketing campaigns or sales strategies in completely different markets.

Get to Know Irene

I am originally from Italy and I started at Philip Morris more than eight years ago. I began in Switzerland as a Quality Engineer. I still remember that November when I left the “Bel Paese” (Italy) saying to my parents “I will be back maximum in one year”, and now after 8 years I am living in Prague, and still very glad to have taken that decision. For sure my job in Philip Morris was key to feel the time passing so quickly. The company helped me to continuously develop my soft and technical skills, giving me the possibility every two years to change my accountabilities and tasks with an increase of responsibilities. This brought me here to the Czech Republic where I am leading a team of more than 30 people and I am responsible for the quality of the produced finished goods. At the same time, I ensure that all processes meet the internal and external requirements.

Meet Roman

I joined Philip Morris in May 2016 for a marketing internship. I actually got here in a rather funny way. At the beginning of my university studies I was really into stock trading, and then I first learned of Philip Morris, but I wasn’t aware of what their business was. A couple years later I visited a Philip Morris stand in my school during the Šance fair. I had about fifteen minutes between the lectures and I filled out a form. I was later contacted by the company, I sent them a CV and it worked out.
