What you are supposed to do

  • The Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Business Line within the Global Business Service Organization in Siemens manages services provided to Siemens companies in the areas of Procurement/Supply. The services rendered are of both operational nature as well as expert knowledge and content driven. For our Supplier Readiness Service line, we are seeking a self-motivated curious and process driven individual, who will become an expert in the respective service, who will define the service strategy and who coordinates pilots and service rollout across all customers and service delivery locations. The Service Manager is fully responsible for his/her product/service (for example Material Compliance) in terms of definition, pricing, rollout concept, sales support, service delivery strategy, development and optimization. As growth is a major key performance indicator at Siemens Global Business Services, this function plays a critical role in selling the services by preparing the product packages for the Customer Account Management Team and adjusting the packages according to the customer specific requirements. In addition, he/she identifies ways to optimize and automate existing services and supports the global implementation in the delivery centers in collaboration with Governance and Customers.
  • Identify customer needs by close collaboration with Customer Account Managers and being part of global customer/topic communities
  • Analyze market potential for new services with strong focus on expert services
  • Create implementation concept for the respective service and adjust/enhance based on customer feedback
  • Create/maintain service descriptions and define relevant Key Performance indicators
  • Maintain global product and pricing catalog
  • Ensure yearly pricing is completed in all service delivery locations
  • Challenge current service processes, performance and productivity and identify improvement opportunities (“how can services be performed faster, more automated, at better quality”?)

Your skills

    • Looking for a curious individual who is willing to challenge the status quo
    • Excellent communication skills on all levels of the organization
    • Analytical thinking skills and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
    • Must be able to present content/data in a comprehensive way
    • Well develop project management skills
    • Experience with Master Data and or EHS/Material Compliance topics is a plus
    • Fluent in English verbally and in writing; German a plus
    • Consulting experience is a plus
