What you are supposed to do

ComAp Product Manager is member of our product management team and is responsible for his/her product line. On this position you will be accountable for monitoring and commissioning tools which are integral part of ComAp solutions for variety of applications such as standby or prime power generation, combined heat and power generation, fire and irrigation pumps, compressors or marine emergency, auxiliary and propulsion control.

You will work closely with colleagues from ComAp headquarters and subsidiaries as well as with our distributors and customers to create specification for your products matching customers’ needs, develop the products throughout their lifecycle, define related business models and promote the product to ensure its’ success. Competition benchmarking and orientation in current technology trends will be essential for your work.

On this position your main responsibilities will be:
  • Product line revenue and costs, in line with the overall product strategy
  • Product lifecycle management (planning of upgrades, reaction to the market situation, succession plans, product launch etc.)
  • Product line strategy planning and related product roadmap creation
  • Monitoring the market, competition and new trends in the specific market segments
  • Benchmarking competitors´ commercial offerings
  • Promotion of owned products towards distributors and customers
  • Keeping customers happy with our current product portfolio

Your skills

  • Experience in Product management in B2B
  • Experience with SaaS commercialization would be advantage
  • Ability to manage in all aspects the product line
  • University degree in technical or economic field
  • Fluent English and Czech/Slovak
  • Ability to work independently and also to liaise with colleagues across the whole company
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Business thinking and customer orientation
  • Goal orientation and drive
  • Willingness for short travels approx. once a month (exhibitions, conferences, customers, suppliers)
