Global Category Sourcing Manager Packaging

As part of the Sourcing Category Team for Packaging components, you will have the responsibility of several Packaging categories for the Global organization & for Europe Zone specifically. In this role, you have 2 types of activities, on one side the operational aspects of purchasing while on the other end the structuration and implementation of our strategic purchasing ambitions

Facing both securisation and sustainability challenges, on top of more standard economic performance, you have to animate an extensive pool of suppliers from major corporations to local companies while reinforcing SRM to leverage partnership. You are responsible for the definition, coordination and implementation of the zone/worldwide strategies in cooperation with a broad diversity of internal stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Global market analysis on the category - particularly packaging for Glass materials
• Management over the global suppliers
• Analysis of the needs (including long term trends with CMI) within the category on the global level and on behalf of all brands of the Group
• Build the road map with key actions/projects
• Follow the implementation of the key actions/projects
• Ensure strategy at global level with close collaboration with regional category managers
• Align and Communicate the strategy with/to the stakeholders (countries / zones, brands, suppliers)
• Animate the supplier relationship for the global supplier: Target business development, improvement of the performance of the supplier (competitiveness, Supply, Quality, Sustainability, innovation)
• Innovation: Catch the innovation from the supplier market and work closely with pack inno teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement and budget yearly exercise

• Solid experience in Packaging components Procurement
• Experience in procurement category management (having experience of managing a category and its suppliers from the STRATEGIC point of view)
• Ability to leverage Supplier relationship to match the Responsiveness & Sustainability ambition.
